The new generation of promising stars will be welcomed soon into the league following the most-anticipated NBA Draft. With this event fast approaching, the New York Knicks are having a tough time to decide on whoever the No. 4 overall pick is and what to do with him afterwards.

Having a big load placed on his shoulder, Coach Phil Jackson needs to choose the right draft pick or else, his team will encounter problems again in the upcoming season.

There are still rumors circulating around NBA concerning the draft picks. Who’s going to be drafted by the New York Knicks despite their inability to land a top three pick in the 2015 NBA Draft? Who is that most wanted No.4 overall pick? Will it be Ohio State guard D’Angelo Russell, Duke forward Justice Winslow or point guard Emmanuel Mudiay? Many questions are still hanging.

Well, there are many speculations, but according to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Knicks are getting closer to locking in Duke star Winslow. Reportedly, the Knicks will host the 19-year-old forward for an individual workout soon. Also, there are rumors telling that the Duke star has “strong support” within the organization. It seems that Winslow is getting close attention from the Knicks. At least, it’s very evident that the team is very serious on eyeing the best prospect to fill in their not-so-good-roster.

The 6-foot-7-tall Winslow posted solid measurements, including his 221.8-pound frame, 8′ 8.5″ standing reach and 6’10.25 wingspan, at the 2015 NBA Draft Combine and further established himself as one of the more powerful athletes in this draft class.

He is really efficient, with a 58% TS%, and also a solid passer who rarely turns the ball over. He’s excellent in transition, where he shows aggressive style of play and punishes his rivals with his strong frame. Truly, adding a big man like Winslow is a great way to compliment the front court and help Carmelo Anthony in creating points for the team.

Locking in Winslow would create promise, but of course, Phil Jackson still needs to consider several things. Surely, fans are looking forward to seeing a great start for the Knicks in this new NBA season. Well, it’s about time for the Knicks to conquer the hard court, after decades of lagging behind other franchise.
